Glapwell cricket ground

Organised by Glapwell Community Development Group, this sounds like a lot of fun! Not only will you be treated to a bonfire and fireworks display but there are a number of rides and stalls to check out and even a bar to help keep the cockles war. It is a child-friendly event with the little ones encouraged to attend in fancy dress. The event takes place on 3 November from 5pm to 8pm.

 

Walesby Forest fireworks spectacular

Taking place on 3 November this event has two fireworks displays, one for the kiddies at 7pm and a main fireworks display a little later at 8:15pm. If you are planning on the later event, try not to get there too late as the bonfire will be lit once the doors open at 5:30pm. The Walesby Forest fireworks spectacular will help raise money for Walesby Forest and ticket prices are £5 adults, and £4 children. Parking is available from 5pm.

 

East Retford RUFC Rugby Ground

If you don't want to travel too far out of Retford, then this is the one for you. The local rugby club is hosting a fireworks spectacular & huge bonfire and all the family are welcome. There is a small fun fair for the kids and a licensed bar for the over 18s. The gates open at 4pm with adult tickets £5, Under 14s £2, and under 5s get in free! The event has 2 firework displays, starting with a smaller one for the children at 6:15pm and the main display shortly after.
