For many first-time buyers (FTBs) the dream of getting on the property ladder can often feel unattainable. But it seems that the market is shifting in favour of this demographic, and 2019 could be the ideal year to start looking at houses for sale in Retford.

People renting a house or flat can often face many problems with the property they are living in if their landlord does not fulfil its obligations to make the accommodation safe and secure for them.

Despite home ownership rates for those aged 25 to 34 rising for the first time in three decades, there’s no end to renting in sight for many young people.

If you’ve been mulling over the idea of moving home and finding your next dream house, you might not want to tarry too long as it seems that now may well be the perfect time to invest in property.

Remember, remember the 5th of November… if you don't remember, you'll likely miss out on all the awesome things you can do in and around Nottinghamshire this bonfire night!  So, if you're researching reasons to move to the area then take a look below at some of the fun-filled fireworks displays you could be getting involved in.

The Walesby Forest fireworks spectacular will help raise money for Walesby Forest and ticket prices are £5 adults, and £4 children. Parking is available from 5pm.
